Anytime, and again, I appreciate you doing things the right way on the front end. I also appreciate your service to the community at large. Offering kids and teens something to do aside form the normal mind wasting activities available is a true boon to everyone.
I'm not terribly good at crit, but I'm with Deltac on the jeans - it's just the face and jacket are so well rendered it looks like his pants need a bit more love. The torn bits are good though. Still, it's awesome anyway - he really isn't a chap I'd like to meet in a dark alleyway. The colours and lighting are gorgeous.
Thanks for the input and the compliments. I had intentions of gong back to the jeans, after i posted it up; they lost a little in the jpeg compression, but I figured that it's a lost cause do tot the fact that Jpegs never look as nice as the original file format. That is not to mention different video cards, monitors, monitor settings etc etc. Digital is one the hardest medias to translate what teh original really looks like.
I do agree though the jeans do need a little more, the original thought was that it would add focus but it seems to have a little to the opposite.
Ok bad things first, smoke looks too thin to look realistic, now they looks more like mustaches (I smoke, I know ). Pants looks a bit unfinished and muscles unrealistic. Good thing is that otherwise it looks awesome. Nice coloring, details and lights.
